ANTHONY WALTER SOLOTARENKO Tony passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2010 after a long fight with colon cancer. At his request no service will be held. Anthony is survived by his wife Pat, son Chris, daughter and son-in-law Tasha and Robert, grandson Jayden, and parents Walter and Anna. Anthony moved to Canada from Europe as a young boy and quickly fell in love with the country. He could be found seeking adventure from one corner of Manitoba to the other but had a particular fondness for the Lake Winnipeg area, particularly Hecla Island. Anthony was always positive in his outlook on life and always seemed to be smiling and joking. He will be dearly missed by his entire family and his friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's name to CancerCare Manitoba.
